Regular Season Round 5: Olimpija - Mornar Bar 64-67

A very interesting game took place in Ljubljana. It ended with only three-point home defeat of higher ranked Slovenian Olimpija (2-3) to eleventh ranked Montenegrin Mornar Bar (2-3) 67-64 in the game for the seventh place. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Uros Lukovic (213-89, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Serbian forward Strahinja Micovic (205-92) chipped in 19 points. Four Mornar Bar players scored in double figures. Mornar Bar's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Jordan Morgan (203-91, college: Michigan) produced 21 points and 7 rebounds and Gregor Hrovat (196-94) added 10 points, 7 assists and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. Mornar Bar moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Olimpija. Mornar Bar's next round opponent will be KK Zadar (#12) at home which should be theoretically an easy game.
