Regular Season Round 5: Borac - Zrinjski HT 84-72

Everything could happen in Cacak at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Serbian Borac and 8th ranked Bosnian Zrinjski HT had identical 2-2 record. This time Borac used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Mostar 84-72 on Wednesday night. Borac shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Marko Marinovic (183-83) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 assists. Guard Ilija Djokovic (191-96) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Borac's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Croatian forward Marko Ramljak (201-93) produced 12 points and 6 rebounds and American Torrion Brummitt (207-93, college: W.Carolina) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Zrinjski HT players scored in double figures. Borac (3-2) moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Zrinjski HT dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Borac will face Rogaska (#11) in Rogaska Slatina in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zrinjski HT will play at home against Lovcen (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
