Regular Season Round 5: Split - KK Primorska 75-82

The game in Split was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Slovenian KK Primorska (4-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Croatian Split (2-3). KK Primorska managed to secure a 7-point victory 82-75 on Wednesday. KK Primorska outrebounded Split 34-22 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Tadej Ferme (187-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) who scored 17 points and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots). Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four KK Primorska players scored in double figures. Forward Henrik Sirko (198-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) produced 21 points and American point guard Mike Scott (184-93, college: Idaho) added 10 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. KK Primorska used an opportunity after Vrsac lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Split dropped to the seventh place with three games lost. KK Primorska will face league's leader Vrsac at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Split will play against Bosna-Royal (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
