Regular Season Round 6: Rogaska - Borac 88-78

There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Slovenian Rogaska (3-3) beat one of their biggest challengers Serbian Borac (3-3) in Rogaska Slatina 88-78. The best player for the winners was forward Mitja Nikolic-Smrdelj (200-91, agency: Players Group) who scored 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). American guard Rashun Davis (180-93, college: Radford) chipped in 23 points and 7 assists. Davis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was Nemanja Todorovic (206-91) who recorded 14 points and 8 rebounds and guard Marko Marinovic (183-83) added 12 points and 7 assists respectively. Four Borac players scored in double figures. Borac's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rogaska moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Borac. Rogaska's next round opponent will be Lovcen (#11) in Cetinje where they are favorite. Borac will play at home against Dynamic BG (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
