Regular Season Round 6: KK Primorska - Vrsac 77-55

Second defeat of league's leader Serbian Vrsac (4-2) against second ranked Slovenian KK Primorska (5-1) 77-55 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in the league. KK Primorska outrebounded Vrsac 48-32 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Croatian center Marijan Cakarun (204-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds. Mirko Mulalic (195-88) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Danilo Ostojic (205-96) replied with 12 points and 5 rebounds and forward Djordje Simeunovic (201-95, agency: BeoBasket) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Vrsac. Vrsac's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. KK Primorska have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Vrsac at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They share the position with Krka and Dynamic BG. They were replaced at the leadership position by KK Primorska. Vrsac will play next round against Zrinjski HT trying to make it back to the top of the standings. KK Primorska will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Bosna-Royal in Sarajevo.
