Regular Season Round 9: Igokea - Cibona 63-57

Everything could happen in Aleksandrovac at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Bosnian Igokea and 9th ranked Croatian Cibona had identical 3-5 record. This time Igokea used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Zagreb 63-57 on Sunday night. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Vuk Radivojevic (196-83) who scored 12 points and 4 assists. Swingman Nikola Gajic (195-91, college: SF Austin) chipped in 6 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was center Luka Zoric (211-84) who recorded 21 points and forward Marin Rozic (201-83, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 2 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Defending Bosnian champion (4-5) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Mornar Bar and Olimpija. Cibona lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with Zadar and Mega Bemax. Igokea will meet league's second-placed Crvena Zvezda in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cibona will play against Mornar Bar (#6) and hope to secure a win.
