Regular Season Round 10: Buducnost - Partizan NIS 86-79

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Podgorica. First ranked Montenegrin Buducnost faced 4th ranked Serbian Partizan. Host Buducnost (9-1) defeated guests from Beograd (5-5) 86-79. 26 personal fouls committed by Partizan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Bosnian point guard Nemanja Gordic (193-88) fired 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Danilo Nikolic (206-93, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Five Buducnost players scored in double figures. Buducnost's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Patrick Miller (185-92, college: Tennessee St.) produced 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Nigel Williams-Goss (191-94, college: Gonzaga) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Buducnost have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending Montenegrin champion maintains first position with 9-1 record. Partizan at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost. They share the position with Olimpija and FMP. Buducnost are looking forward to face FMP (#6) in Beograd in the next round where they are favorite. Partizan will play at home against Cedevita and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
