Regular Season Round 10: Crvena Zvezda - Igokea 85-80

There was no surprise in Beograd where 7th ranked Bosnian Igokea (4-6) was defeated by second ranked Serbian Crvena Zvezda (8-2) 85-80. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. American-Montenegrin point guard Taylor Rochestie (185-85, college: Washington St.) notched 20 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and Dejan Davidovac (202-95, agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 8 points and 5 assists. Even 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) by Croatian-Bosnian center Robert Rikic (219-90) did not help to save the game for Igokea. Serbian guard Marko Ljubicic (195-87) added 12 points and 6 assists for lost side. Four Crvena Zvezda and five Igokea players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Crvena Zvezda have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending Serbian champion maintains second position with 8-2 record behind leader Buducnost. Defending Bosnian champion Igokea keeps the seventh place with six games lost. Crvena Zvezda's next round opponent will be Cibona (#9) in Zagreb and are hoping to win another game. Igokea will play at home against Mega Bemax and hope to win that game.
