Regular Season Round 10: Mega Bemax - Zadar 71-73

A very close game took place in Sremska Mitrovica between Croatian KK Zadar and Serbian Mega Bemax. Eleventh ranked KK Zadar (4-6) got a very close victory on the road over 10th ranked Mega Bemax (3-7). KK Zadar managed to escape with a 2-point win 73-71 on Monday evening. KK Zadar made 27-of-31 free shots (87.1 percent) during the game. American swingman Josh Bostic (196-87, college: Findlay, OH) scored 27 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and Ive Ivanov (200-85, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four KK Zadar players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Stefan Fundic (199-94, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Nikola Rebic (188-95, agency: BeoBasket) scored 16 points and 4 assists. KK Zadar moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Mega Bemax lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. KK Zadar will meet at home higher ranked Olimpija (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Mega Bemax will play against Igokea (#10) in Aleksandrovac and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
