Regular Season Round 8: KK Primorska - Zrinjski HT 67-64

Ninth-ranked Bosnian Zrinjski HT (3-5) made lots of trouble for first ranked Slovenian KK Primorska (7-1) in Koper. KK Primorska managed to secure only three-point victory 67-64. However their fans expected much easier game. Nejc Zupan (201-96) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 6 rebounds. Croatian center Marijan Cakarun (204-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Vedran Princ (190-82) replied with 14 points and 7 assists and Serbian-Bosnian guard Marko Sutalo (194-83, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 15 points in the effort for Zrinjski HT. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KK Primorska have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. Zrinjski HT at the other side keeps the ninth place with five games lost. They share the position with Lovcen. KK Primorska will play against league's second-placed Krka in Novo Mesto in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zrinjski HT will play at home against Rogaska (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
