Regular Season Round 8: Bosna-Royal - Krka 84-88

There was no surprise in Sarajevo where 11th ranked Bosnian Bosna-Royal (2-6) was defeated by third ranked Slovenian Krka (6-2) 88-84. They made 26-of-28 charity shots (92.9 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Bosna-Royal helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by guard Domen Bratoz (189-93) who scored that evening 20 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals and Serbian forward Dalibor Djapa (206-84, agency: 011 Sports) supported him with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Five Krka players scored in double figures. Even 30 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by guard Drasko Knezevic (185-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) did not help to save the game for Bosna-Royal. Montenegrin center Maksim Sturanovic (210-88, agency: 011 Sports) added 11 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Bosna-Royal's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Krka have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Bosna-Royal lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with six games lost. Krka's next round opponent will be league's leader KK Primorska in Koper and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bosna-Royal will play on the road against Ohrid AV (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
