Regular Season Round 11: Igokea - Mega Bemax 82-89

There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Bosnian Igokea (4-7) lost to eleventh ranked Serbian Mega Bemax (4-7) in Aleksandrovac 82-89. Mega Bemax dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Igokea's 38. The best player for the winners was Slovenian Vlatko Cancar (201-97, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Georgian power forward Goga Bitadze (211-99, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Mega Bemax's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Serbian Nikola Jevtovic (208-89) produced 18 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian guard Marko Ljubicic (195-87) added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the hosts. Five Mega Bemax and four Igokea players scored in double figures. Mega Bemax moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Cibona and Igokea. Mega Bemax's next round opponent will be Cibona (#11) in Zagreb.
