Regular Season Round 9: Zrinjski HT - Rogaska 81-75

There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Slovenian Rogaska (4-5) lost to ninth ranked Bosnian Zrinjski HT (4-5) in Mostar 75-81 on Wednesday. Zrinjski HT looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Croatian forward Marko Ramljak (201-93) nailed 19 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Montenegrin center Marko Ljujic (207-90) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Mitja Nikolic-Smrdelj (200-91, agency: Players Group) came up with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Croatian forward Ivan Batur (203-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Rogaska in the defeat. Zrinjski HT moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Split and Rogaska. Zrinjski HT will meet higher ranked Dynamic BG (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rogaska will play against the league's second-placed KK Primorska where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
