The game in Beograd was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Croatian Cedevita (9-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Serbian FMP (5-7). Cedevita managed to secure a 9-point victory 80-71. Cedevita made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American forward Demetris Nichols (202-84, college: Syracuse) who scored that evening 18 points and point guard Roko-Leni Ukic (196-84) supported him with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 12 points and 11 assists by point guard Filip Covic (178-89) did not help to save the game for FMP. Stefan Lazarevic (198-96) added 13 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Cedevita have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending Croatian champion maintains third position with 9-3 record behind leader Buducnost. FMP lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Cedevita will play against KK Zadar (#5) at home in the next round. FMP will play against MZT Skopje and hopes to get back on the winning track.
