Regular Season Round 13: Partizan NIS - Mornar Bar 93-98

There was a surprise result in Beograd where ninth ranked Montenegrin Mornar Bar (6-7) defeated 4th placed Serbian Partizan (6-7) 98-93 on Saturday. Serbian center Uros Lukovic (213-89, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up and scored 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (191-87, college: S.Carolina) chipped in 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side American guard Nigel Williams-Goss (191-94, college: Gonzaga) responded with 16 points and 8 assists and the other American import point guard Patrick Miller (185-92, college: Tennessee St.) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Five Mornar Bar and four Partizan players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Mornar Bar moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Partizan. Mornar Bar will meet at home Mega Bemax (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Partizan's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beograd to the arena FMP.
