Regular Season Round 12: Zrinjski HT - Split 85-75

The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Bosnian Zrinjski HT's (7-5) home victory over 7th ranked Croatian Split (5-7) in Mostar 85-75. The best player for the winners was guard Vedran Princ (190-82) who scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Croatian forward Marko Ramljak (201-93) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Mike Scott (184-93, college: Idaho) who recorded 9 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and Mateo Kedzo (205-84) added 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively. Four Split players scored in double figures. Split's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Zrinjski HT have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Rogaska. Split at the other side keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Zrinjski HT's next round opponent will be Bosna-Royal (#11) in Sarajevo where they are favorite. Split will play at home against Rogaska (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
