Regular Season Round 13: Borac - KK Primorska 78-75

Round 13 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Slovenian KK Primorska (9-4). They were edged by second ranked Serbian Borac (10-3) 78-75 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of KK Primorska. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Nemanja Todorovic (206-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and guard Ilija Djokovic (191-96) chipped in 14 points. At the losing side Croatian center Marijan Cakarun (204-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Nejc Zupan (201-96) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Borac have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. KK Primorska at the other side dropped to the second place with four games lost. They share the position with Krka. They were replaced at the leadership position by Borac. KK Primorska will play next round against Teodo Tivat trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Borac will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Lovcen in Cetinje.
