Regular Season Round 13: Split - Rogaska 85-75

An interesting game took place in Split where 6th ranked Slovenian Rogaska (7-6) was upset on the court of ninth ranked Croatian Split (6-7) 85-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Rogaska. Split dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Rogaska's 28. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Mateo Kedzo (205-84) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American point guard Mike Scott (184-93, college: Idaho) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Split players scored in double figures. Forward Marko Pajic (204-92) answered with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Croatian forward Ivan Batur (203-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Rogaska. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Split moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Lovcen and Teodo Tivat. Rogaska at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Split's next round opponent will be Dynamic BG (#10) in Beograd. Rogaska will play at home against Bosna-Royal (#11) and hope to win that game.
