Regular Season Round 18: Olimpija - Cedevita 65-64

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Croatian Cedevita (13-5) against tenth ranked Slovenian Olimpija (6-12) on Saturday night. Visiting Cedevita was edged by Olimpija in a tough game in Ljubljana 64-65. It was a good game for American forward Jordan Morgan (203-91, college: Michigan) who saved his team from a defeat with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Gregor Hrovat (196-94) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Four Olimpija players scored in double figures. Bosnian Dzanan Musa (200-99, agency: BeoBasket) replied with 24 points and American point guard Will Cherry (185-91, college: Montana) added 13 points in the effort for Cedevita. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Defending Slovenian champion moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Cibona and Mega Bemax. Defending Croatian champion Cedevita keeps the third position with five games lost. Olimpija's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked MZT Skopje (#12) on the road. Cedevita will play against the league's leader Buducnost (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
