Regular Season Round 17: Vrsac - KK Primorska 74-68

The game between third ranked Slovenian KK Primorska (11-6) and fourth ranked Serbian Vrsac (11-6) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. KK Primorska was defeated by Vrsac in a tough game in Vrsac 68-74. Vrsac outrebounded KK Primorska 43-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by KK Primorska helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Dusan Kutlesic (201-94) who scored 8 points and 7 assists. Guard Stefan Momirov (195-99) chipped in 4 points and 11 rebounds. Vrsac's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nebojsa Joksimovic (193-81, agency: PEPI SPORT) produced 15 points and 5 rebounds and Mirko Mulalic (195-88) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Four KK Primorska players scored in double figures. Vrsac moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated KK Primorska. Vrsac is looking forward to face Zrinjski HT (#5) in Mostar in the next round. KK Primorska will play at home against Bosna-Royal and is hoping to win this game.
