No shocking result in a game when third ranked Slovenian KK Primorska (12-6) beat 11th ranked Bosnian Bosna-Royal (5-13) in Koper 72-59 on Wednesday. Croatian center Marijan Cakarun (204-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) notched 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Tadej Ferme (187-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) supported him with 16 points and 4 assists. Even 11 points and 8 rebounds by Montenegrin center Maksim Sturanovic (210-88, agency: 011 Sports) did not help to save the game for Bosna-Royal. Guard Drasko Knezevic (185-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) added 12 points and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. KK Primorska moved-up to second place, which they share with Krka. Loser Bosna-Royal keeps the eleventh position with 13 games lost. KK Primorska will meet Zrinjski HT (#4) in the next round. Bosna-Royal will play against the league's second-placed Krka (#2) in Novo Mesto and hope to secure a win.
