Regular Season Round 18: Zrinjski HT - Vrsac 88-73

The game in Mostar was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Serbian Vrsac (11-7) played at the court of fifth ranked Bosnian Zrinjski HT (11-7). Zrinjski HT defeated Vrsac 88-73 on Thursday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vrsac. Serbian guard Aleksandar Sokolovic (193-93) notched 20 points to lead the effort and Montenegrin center Marko Ljujic (207-90) supported him with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Zrinjski HT players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 4 assists by guard Miroslav Pasajlic (190-95) did not help to save the game for Vrsac. Dusan Kutlesic (201-94) added 10 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zrinjski HT moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Vrsac. Zrinjski HT will meet at home higher ranked KK Primorska (#3) in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Vrsac will play against Rogaska and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
