Regular Season Round 19: Vrsac - Rogaska 85-76

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Slovenian Rogaska's (10-9) road loss to fifth ranked Serbian Vrsac (12-7) 76-85 on Tuesday. Vrsac outrebounded Rogaska 40-26 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Miroslav Pasajlic (190-95) fired 23 points and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Djordje Simeunovic (201-95, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Vrsac players scored in double figures. Vrsac's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Rashun Davis (180-93, college: Radford) produced 20 points and 4 assists and forward Mitja Nikolic-Smrdelj (200-91, agency: Players Group) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Vrsac moved-up to fourth place. Loser Rogaska keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Split. Vrsac will meet Dynamic BG (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Rogaska will play against Zrinjski HT and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
