Regular Season Round 19: Krka - Bosna-Royal 71-65

Very expected game in Novo Mesto where 11th ranked Bosnian Bosna-Royal (5-14) was defeated by second ranked Slovenian Krka (13-6) 71-65 on Wednesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Krka outrebounded Bosna-Royal 43-26 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Serbian-Bosnian forward Marko Josilo (200-92) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Serbian forward Dalibor Djapa (206-84, agency: 011 Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Four Krka players scored in double figures. Montenegrin center Maksim Sturanovic (210-88, agency: 011 Sports) produced 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Drasko Knezevic (185-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) added 19 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Krka maintains second place with 13-6 record behind leader Borac, which they share with KK Primorska. Loser Bosna-Royal keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Krka will meet KK Primorska (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Bosna-Royal will play against Ohrid AV (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
