Regular Season Round 19: Lovcen - Dynamic BG 85-73

Everything could happen in Cetinje at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Montenegrin Lovcen and 8th ranked Serbian Dynamic BG had identical 8-10 record. This time Lovcen used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Beograd 85-73 on Wednesday night. Lovcen shot 30 for 40 from the free-throw line, while Dynamic BG only scored ten points from the stripe. Aleksa Popovic (201-87) fired 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Masan Vrbica (187-94, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Forward Nemanja Krstic (203-93) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Desmond Washington (188-92, college: St.Peter's) added 12 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lovcen (9-10) moved-up to eighth place. Loser Dynamic BG dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Lovcen will meet Teodo Tivat (#10) on the road in the next round. Dynamic BG will play against Vrsac and hope to secure a win.
