Semi-Finals Game 1: Crvena Zvezda - Mornar Bar 91-63

Crvena Zvezda coasted past Mornar Bar for 1-0 lead in the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Crvena Zvezda. Mornar Bar was better in third quarter 27-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Mornar Bar 37-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Crvena Zvezda shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Mornar Bar's players. Dominican-American James Feldeine (193-88, college: Quinnipiac) stepped up and scored 23 points and 4 assists for the winners and Montenegrin-Serbian power forward Milko Bjelica (207-84, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 17 points. Crvena Zvezda's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American-Montenegrin point guard Derek Needham (180-90, college: Fairfield) responded with 16 points and 4 assists and FYR Macedonian center Vukota Pavic (203-93) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
