Regular Season Round 1: Borac - Spars Sarajevo 80-84

Another exciting game was played in Cacak between Bosnian Spars Sarajevo and Serbian Borac where Spars Sarajevo (1-0) beat Borac (0-1) on the road 84-80. Borac was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian-Bosnian forward Adin Vrabac (205-94) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Center Drasko Albijanic (211-86) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Spars Sarajevo players scored in double figures. Guard Radovan Djokovic (196-96, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 23 points and 6 rebounds and forward Svetozar Stamenkovic (206-90) added 14 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Borac. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Spars Sarajevo will play against Primorska (#4) in Koper in the next round. Borac will play on the road against MZT Skopje to get more than just one victory in their record.
