Regular Season Round 2: Cibona - Igokea 84-86

Very significant was Bosnian Igokea's (#7) just 2-point road victory against Croatian Cibona 86-84. Cibona was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. Cibona was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Serbian Sava Lesic (205-88, agency: BeoBasket) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds to lead the effort and Croatian power forward Tomislav Zubcic (212-90) supported him with 24 points. Even 17 points and 4 assists by Josip Bilinovac (191-90) did not help to save the game for Cibona. Serbian guard Marko Ljubicic (195-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 12 points and 6 assists for the hosts. Four Igokea and five Cibona players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Igokea will play against Buducnost (#9) in Podgorica in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cibona will play on the road against FMP in Beograd to get more than just one victory in their record.
