Regular Season Round 3: Borac - Helios Suns 81-63

Serbian Borac (1-2) crushed at home Slovenian Helios Suns (1-2) by 18 points 81-63, which is the biggest margin this round. Borac outrebounded Helios Suns 32-21 including 27 on the defensive glass. Helios Suns were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a quality performance for guard Radovan Djokovic (193-96, agency: BeoBasket) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 4 assists. Center Filip Zekavicic (208-92) accounted for 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Bosnian-Serbian swingman Nikola Gajic (195-91, college: SF Austin) came up with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian center Djoko Salic (211-95) added 15 points respectively for Helios Suns in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Borac will play against Primorska in Koper in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
