Regular Season Round 3: Vrsac - Dynamic VP 99-93

There was a minor upset when Dynamic VP (1-2) was defeated on the road by Vrsac (1-2) 99-93. Vrsac shot 60.4 percent from the field and made 25-of-31 charity shots (80.6 percent) during the game. Vrsac outrebounded Dynamic VP 35-23 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Dynamic VP was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Strahinja Jovanovic (180-96) who led the winners and scored 28 points and 5 assists. Ranko Simovic (200-99) accounted for 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Vrsac's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Milos Milisavljevic (193-93) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Danilo Ostojic (205-96) added 18 points respectively for Dynamic VP in the defeat. Four Vrsac and five Dynamic VP players scored in double figures. Vrsac will play against Rogaska (#9) in Rogaska Slatina in the next round. Dynamic VP will play on the road against Helios Suns in Domzale and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
