Regular Season Round 3: Crvena Zvezda - Krka 80-66

Crvena Zvezda delivered the third consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they beat Slovenian Krka (1-2) 80-66 in Beograd. Crvena Zvezda made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American-Liberian point guard Joe Ragland (182-89, college: Wichita St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 10 points and 4 assists. American point guard Billy Baron (188-90, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 13 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Croatian guard Paolo Marinelli (191-95) with 15 points and 7 assists and Luka Lapornik (195-88, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 10 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Crvena Zvezda will meet at home Igokea (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Krka will play against Partizan and hope to win that game.
