Regular Season Round 5: Zrinjski HT - MZT Skopje 93-87

Very important is a road loss of third ranked FYR Macedonian MZT Skopje (3-2) against twelfth ranked Bosnian Zrinjski HT (1-4) on Wednesday night. Visiting MZT Skopje was defeated by Zrinjski HT in a tough game in Mostar 87-93. Croatian forward Marko Ramljak (201-93) stepped up and scored 35 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners and Croatian forward Ivan Milicevic (204-95) chipped in 25 points and 6 rebounds. Zrinjski HT's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Croatian Ive Ivanov (200-85, agency: PEPI SPORT) responded with 26 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Lester Medford (178-93, college: Baylor) scored 7 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. Defending Bosnian champion left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams. MZT Skopje at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Sutjeska and Dynamic VP. Zrinjski HT will play against Borac (#9) in Cacak in the next round. MZT Skopje will play at home against Split (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
