The game between Top Four teams took place in Bar. 4th placed Montenegrin host Mornar Bar (2-3) lost to leader Serbian Mega Bemax (5-0) 84-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mornar Bar. Mega Bemax looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Georgian center Goga Bitadze (211-99, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). French guard Adam Mokoka (196-98, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 11 points and 6 assists. American guard Bronson Koenig (192-94, college: Wisconsin) produced 23 points and 4 assists and Trinidad and Tobago-American guard Khadeen Carrington (193-95, college: Seton Hall) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Mega Bemax and five Mornar Bar players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Mega Bemax. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Crvena Zvezda. Defending Montenegrin champion Mornar Bar keeps the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with 7 other teams. Mega Bemax will meet at home Partizan (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Mornar Bar will play against Cibona in Zagreb and hope to secure a win.
