Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Serbian Vrsac (1-5) was defeated on the road by second ranked Bosnian Spars Sarajevo (5-1) 67-54 on Wednesday. Spars Sarajevo forced 20 Vrsac turnovers. The best player for the winners was Serbian-Bosnian forward Adin Vrabac (205-94) who scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Adi Zahiragic (187-95) chipped in 6 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was center Veljko Brkic (206-95) who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Nikola Siladji (208-92) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Spars Sarajevo have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 5-1 record behind leader Primorska. Vrsac lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Zrinjski HT. Spars Sarajevo will meet Dynamic VP (#6) in the next round. Vrsac will play against MZT Skopje (#3) and hope to win that game.
