Regular Season Round 6: Primorska - Lovcen 77-74

Seventh-ranked Montenegrin Lovcen (2-4) gave a tough game to top-ranked Slovenian Primorska (6-0) in Koper on Wednesday. Primorska managed to secure only three-point victory 77-74. However their fans expected much easier game. Primorska looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American swingman Lance Harris (197-84, college: Kansas St.) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian-Slovenian center Ivan Marinkovic (207-93) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Primorska's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was point guard Milutin Djukanovic (190-91) with 14 points and 5 assists and Serbian Nemanja Todorovic (206-91) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Primorska have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Lovcen at the other side keeps the seventh place with four games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Primorska are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Zrinjski HT (#12) in Mostar in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Lovcen will play at home against Helios Suns (#10) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
