Regular Season Round 7: FMP - Krka 93-65

The game between fifth ranked Serbian FMP (4-3) and 8th ranked Slovenian Krka (2-5) in Beograd ended with biggest points difference. FMP outscored guests from Novo Mesto 93-65. FMP dominated down low during the game scoring 38 of its points in the paint compared to Krka's 18. They also forced 19 Krka turnovers. Krka was plagued by 37 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Stefan Pot (195-94) who helped to win the game recording 30 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Power forward Dragan Apic (206-95, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four FMP players scored in double figures. At the losing side Luka Lapornik (195-88, agency: PEPI SPORT) responded with 15 points and Croatian center Jure Lalic (211-86) scored 11 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. FMP moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Partizan NIS. Krka lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. FMP will play against Cedevita (#7) in Zagreb in the next round. Krka will play at home against the league's second-placed Mega Bemax and hopes to get back on the winning track.
