Regular Season Round 11: Dynamic VP - Lovcen 87-88

A very close game took place in Beograd between Montenegrin Lovcen and Serbian Dynamic VP. Fourth ranked Lovcen (7-4) got a very close victory on the road over 7th ranked Dynamic VP (4-7). Lovcen managed to escape with a 1-point win 88-87 on Wednesday evening. Lovcen looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Milos Popovic (198-98) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Point guard Milutin Djukanovic (190-91) accounted for 18 points and 9 assists for the winning side. Guard Andreja Stevanovic (195-95) came up with 30 points and 8 assists and Milos Glisic (205-98) added 18 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Dynamic VP in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dynamic VP's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Lovcen. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Spars Sarajevo. Dynamic VP lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Lovcen will meet Rogaska (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dynamic VP will play against Zrinjski HT and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
