Regular Season Round 13: Zrinjski HT - Rogaska 94-93

A very interesting game took place in Mostar. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 11th ranked Slovenian Rogaska (4-9) to ninth ranked Bosnian Zrinjski HT (5-8) 94-93 on Thursday evening. Zrinjski HT shot 63.0 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Zrinjski HT especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Bosnian power forward Aleksandar Todorovic (206-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) nailed 28 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Serbian guard Aleksandar Sokolovic (193-93) accounted for 11 points and 11 assists. Five Zrinjski HT players scored in double figures. Point guard Mirza Sarajlija (187-91) came up with 27 points and 4 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American point guard Rashun Davis (182-93, college: Radford) added 13 points and 11 assists respectively for Rogaska in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Zrinjski HT. Defending Bosnian champion maintains ninth place with 5-8 record, which they share with Helios Suns. Rogaska at the other side keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Zrinjski HT will have a break next round. Rogaska will play at home against Split (#5) and hope to win that game.
