Regular Season Round 15: Dynamic VP - Helios Suns 79-71

Rather expected game in Beograd where 22th ranked Slovenian Helios Suns (5-10) were defeated by twentieth ranked Serbian Dynamic VP (8-7) 79-71 on Wednesday. Dynamic VP dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Helios Suns' 28. Dynamic VP forced 19 Helios Suns turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Andreja Stevanovic (195-95) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Milos Glisic (205-98) helped adding 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Dynamic VP players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Bosnian-Serbian swingman Nikola Gajic (195-91, college: SF Austin) with 15 points and 5 assists and Serbian center Djoko Salic (211-95) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dynamic VP have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Helios Suns at the other side dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Zrinjski HT. Dynamic VP is looking forward to face Rogaska (#9) in Rogaska Slatina in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Helios Suns will play at home against the league's leader Primorska and are hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
