Regular Season Round 19: Sutjeska - Helios Suns 78-70

No shocking result in a game in Niksic where fifth ranked Montenegrin Sutjeska (11-8) defeated 10th ranked Slovenian Helios Suns (6-13) 78-70 on Wednesday. It was a great evening for power forward Radosav Spasojevic (204-92, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds. Nikola Pavlicevic (192-88) helped adding 22 points and 4 assists. At the losing side Bosnian-Serbian swingman Nikola Gajic (195-91, college: SF Austin) responded with 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Serbian center Djoko Salic (211-95) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Four Helios Suns players scored in double figures. Helios Suns' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sutjeska moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Dynamic VP. Helios Suns at the other side keep the tenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Zrinjski HT. Sutjeska will meet league's second-placed Spars Sarajevo on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Helios Suns will play against Zrinjski HT (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
