No shocking result in a game when third ranked North Macedonian MZT Skopje (14-6) beat at home 9th ranked Slovenian Rogaska (7-13) 84-70 on Thursday. MZT Skopje looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Serbian Andrija Bojic (207-93, agency: BeoBasket) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Lester Medford (178-93, college: Baylor) contributed with 14 points and 6 assists for the winners. Five MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. Serbian power forward Sreten Knezevic (206-94, agency: PEPI SPORT) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and American point guard Rashun Davis (182-93, college: Radford) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Rogaska. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. MZT Skopje maintains third position with 14-6 record having five points less than leader Primorska. Rogaska lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 13 games lost. MZT Skopje will face Sutjeska (#5) in Niksic in the next round. Rogaska will play at home against Borac (#4) and hope to win that game.
