An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Skopje. Third ranked North Macedonian MZT Skopje faced their biggest opponent Bosnian Spars Sarajevo. Host MZT Skopje (15-7) defeated guests from Sarajevo (16-6) 93-77. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Spars Sarajevo. MZT Skopje dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Spars Sarajevo's 26. MZT Skopje forced 20 Spars Sarajevo turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of center Predrag Samardziski (215-86, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Croatian Ive Ivanov (200-85, agency: PEPI SPORT) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. Point guard Adi Zahiragic (187-95) replied with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Fahrudin Manjgafic (208-97) added 16 points in the effort for Spars Sarajevo. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MZT Skopje maintains third position with 15-7 record having five points less than leader Primorska. Spars Sarajevo at the other side keeps the second place with six games lost.
