Regular Season Round 6: Rogaska - Novi Pazar 98-97

Important game to mention about took place in Rogaska Slatina. Seventh ranked Slovenian Rogaska (3-3) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 10th ranked Serbian Novi Pazar (1-5) 98-97 on Tuesday evening. Rogaska forced 22 Novi Pazar turnovers. Strangely Novi Pazar outrebounded Rogaska 37-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Novi Pazar was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Tadej Ferme (187-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 28 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Danijel Vujasinovic (192-89) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists during the contest. Rogaska's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was guard Milan Vulic (193-91) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Montenegrin guard Nikola Korac (186-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rogaska moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Split and Lovcen. Novi Pazar lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. Rogaska will face higher ranked Sutjeska (#4) in Niksic in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Novi Pazar will play at home against Lovcen (#8) and hope to win that game.
