Regular Season Round 10: MZT Skopje - Novi Pazar 89-87

Eighth-ranked Serbian Novi Pazar (4-6) made lots of trouble for second ranked North Macedonian MZT Skopje (8-2) on Wednesday. MZT Skopje managed to secure only two-point victory 89-87. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Novi Pazar. Serbian-North Macedonian point guard Andrej Magdevski (192-96) fired 14 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Power forward Bojan Krstevski (206-89, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Bosnian power forward Aleksandar Todorovic (206-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Michael Mallory (185-94, college: S.Connecticut) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Five MZT Skopje and four Novi Pazar players scored in double figures. MZT Skopje have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending North Macedonian champion maintains second position with 8-2 record having just eighteen point less than leader Borac. Novi Pazar at the other side keeps the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with Lovcen and Dynamic VP. MZT Skopje are looking forward to face higher ranked Lovcen in Cetinje in the next round. Novi Pazar will play at home against Borac and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
