Regular Season Round 10: Borac - Dynamic VP 87-80

One of the most interesting games of round 10 was a derby match between two teams from Serbia. The game took place in Cacak where first ranked Borac won against visiting Dynamic VP (4-6) 87-80. Borac forced 23 Dynamic VP turnovers. Strangely Dynamic VP outrebounded Borac 36-20 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Uros Carapic (195-96) who helped to win the game recording 14 points. Guard Radovan Djokovic (193-96, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Center Nikola Vujovic (210-93) replied with 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and point guard Vuk Vulikic (195-99) added 11 points and 7 assists in the effort for Dynamic VP. Four Dynamic VP players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Borac maintains first position with 9-1 record. Dynamic VP at the other side keeps the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with Lovcen and Novi Pazar. Borac will play against higher ranked Novi Pazar on the road in the next round. Dynamic VP will play against Sutjeska and hopes to get back on the winning track.
