Regular Season Round 10: Primorska - Zadar 83-78

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Slovenian Primorska (7-3) beat bottom-ranked Croatian KK Zadar (1-9) in Koper 83-78 on Monday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Primorska looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by KK Zadar's players. It was a very good performance for point guard Zan-Mark Sisko (189-97, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points, 9 rebounds and 19 assists. Serbian-Slovenian center Ivan Marinkovic (207-93) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Primorska players scored in double figures. Guard Dominik Mavra (195-94) replied with 26 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American guard Bryon Allen (193-92, college: GMU) added 23 points and 4 assists in the effort for KK Zadar. Defending Slovenian champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Partizan NIS and Cedevita Olimpija. Loser KK Zadar stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Primorska will face Igokea (#11) in Aleksandrovac in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KK Zadar will play at home against Crvena Zvezda and hope to win that game.
