Regular Season Round 13: Helios Suns - Dynamic VP 63-61

The most exciting game of round 13 in the ABA League took place in Domzale. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Serbian Dynamic VP (6-7) to seventh ranked Slovenian Helios Suns (7-6) 63-61 in the game for the sixth place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dynamic VP. Strangely Dynamic VP outrebounded Helios Suns 45-26 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Blaz Mahkovic (201-90) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Croatian swingman Davor Konjevic (198-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Ivan Smiljanic (199-89) produced 11 points and 9 rebounds and Danilo Ostojic (205-96) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Dynamic VP's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Helios Suns moved-up to sixth place. Dynamic VP at the other side dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Split. Helios Suns are looking forward to face Novi Pazar (#10) on the road in the next round. Dynamic VP will play against Siroki and is hoping to win this game.
