Regular Season Round 14: Sloboda Tuzla - Sutjeska 102-69

Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Montenegrin Sutjeska (8-6) and Bosnian Sloboda Tuzla (4-10), which took place in Tuzla. Higher ranked Sutjeska was outleveled in a road game by eleventh ranked Sloboda Tuzla 102-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sutjeska. Sloboda Tuzla dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Sutjeska's 30. It was a great shooting night for Sloboda Tuzla especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Croatian-Bosnian center Robert Rikic (219-90) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Denzel Gregg (200-95, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five Sloboda Tuzla players scored in double figures. Bosnian point guard Drasko Knezevic (185-93) produced 10 points and 5 assists and Nikola Pavlicevic (192-88) added 14 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sloboda Tuzla maintains eleventh position with 4-10 record. Sutjeska at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Sloboda Tuzla's next round opponent will be higher ranked Split (#7) on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Sutjeska will play against Spars and hope to win that game.
