Regular Season Round 15: Sutjeska - Spars 79-88

Bottom-ranked Bosnian Spars managed to get the second consecutive victory on Thursday night. This time they won against fifth-ranked Montenegrin Sutjeska in Niksic 88-79. Spars looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Nedim Buza (205-95) who scored 22 points. Serbian-Bosnian forward Adin Vrabac (205-94) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Spars' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Bosnian point guard Drasko Knezevic (185-93) who recorded 22 points and Nikola Pavlicevic (192-88) added 21 points respectively. Spars maintains twelfth place with 3-12 record. Sutjeska at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Helios Suns. Spars will meet at home higher ranked Split (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sutjeska will play against the league's second-placed MZT Skopje where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
