Regular Season Round 15: Igokea - FMP 91-82

There was an upset in Aleksandrovac where 4th placed Serbian FMP (9-6) was defeated by tenth ranked Bosnian Igokea (5-10) 91-82 on Sunday. Igokea made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. FMP was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Serbian Sava Lesic (205-88) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. American Rashad Vaughn (198-96, college: UNLV) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Igokea players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Australian-South Sudanese forward Duop Reath (211-96, college: LSU) who recorded 19 points and 7 rebounds and Marko Jeremic (192-91) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Igokea. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Cibona. Loser FMP keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Igokea will face KK Zadar (#11) on the road in the next round. FMP's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beograd Partizan NIS.
